It was such a beautiful day that Evelyn and I went outside to play in all of our leaves! Clayton and I are so not used to city living and it seems ridiculous to bag up our leaves and put them on the curb for the garbage men. "That's stupid, I'm not doing that!" So Clayton went to the Home Depot and got a few garbage cans and made me two compost bins in the garden! Unfortunatly, it doesn't seem like 2 is going to be enough for all those leaves and I'm going to have to get creative....or go get the paper yard waste sacks and bag them myself!
At any rate Evelyn had so much fun moving the piles I was making, jumping in them, and covering herself up in them!

Fun times! One thing I loved about the leaves on Front St is that we could just push them into the street and the street sweeper would get them!
I have to say composting is an art. So many parts this and so
many parts that!! Its amazing how
you can turn leaves into top soil!!
I have to say Savannah and I are quite proud of our composting project!! I wish you were here playing in our leaves so I could see that darling baby. Toddler!!??
