Wisteria

Wow! What can I say about wisteria, It's beautiful but it's a tangled messy growing machine!! Apparently, it's runners can grow up to 12 feet a year, it has been known to lift houses off of their foundations, and ours was trying to smother the neighbors trees! Clayton spent last Saturday trimming it back from the fenceline and trying to figure out how to make the trellis for it to grow on. It appears that the previous owners never trimmed off the dead stuff, or trimmed it back much so we have a whole mess of branches to slowly get rid off in the garbage can (we could take it to the dump, but it costs money to dispose of, soooo we'll just slowly pile it out on wednesdays and hope it doesn't take all summer!)

It realy is beautiful though and smells great!
