Thank Goodness for Stupid People!

Normally I wouldn't be so happy about idiocy. This time, however, it seems like perfect timing. Clayton's sort-of boss (not the real boss, but the guy that was in charge of his department) was an idiot. Really, this guy was one of the stockholders sons and made a mistake that cost the company a TON of money. But he still kept on working.

Yesterday, Clayton's real boss, Tim, left a note on his computer that there was a meeting. At this meeting he was told that Landon was quiting to start his own lanscaping company. Tim told the other girl that does what Clayton does that she could go and asked Clayton to stay. At first Clayton was nervous and was trying to think if he'd done anything to get in trouble for. ( I laughed about that, because that's exactly the reaction I probably would have had) Then Tim told Clayton that he gets Landon's job! Yay! That means that Clayton will get lots more hours over the summer and some overtime too! Hopefully it means a raise, but Clayton didn't want to push his luck and ask about it right then.

So this means that they like Clayton and want him to stick around with them for a while. Not to shabby.
