We made it to Washington! What a trip! It was like we had 2 kids. We brought Monty, our dog and he was great, it was Evelyn that was crazy! She was so excited to have Monty in the truck too and she wanted him to put his head in her lap. She'd grab his collar and try to move him and freak out when he wasn't listening to her. Evelyn was so excited to be going to visit Nana and Grandpa Gerry, she kept saying, "I go Nanna's house! I go Beach!" (she mixed up the two sets of granparents) We left Boise at 1:30pm and she didn't fall asleep till around 6:30 that night! Luckily we had the portable DVD player! Thank goodness for Curious George. As soon as we saw the snake river in Oregon Evelyn started yelling, "I go to the beach! I need a boat, see a shark, I do it all by myself!" So funny! We finally made it to Clayton's parents house at around midnight (our time) As an added bonus to our extended car-ride we are potty training Evelyn so when she'd get especially tired of sitting she's frantically call out, "I have to go potty!" She did really great, though and we're so proud of her!
We had Christmas at Gramma J's house with all of Clayton's Aunts and Uncles and Cousins it was a house full! But so much fun, Evelyn loved seeing everyone again, especially her cousin Sophia. She couldn't stop hugging her!
Christmas day was alot of fun too, She loved her new dollhouse that Nana and Grandpa Gerry got for her, she loved staying at Nanas house. She kept calling Gerry, Grampa Berry, it was so cute.
We got to see our friends, Zack and Julie and their new baby Kale. It was alot of fun seeing them as parents! Congrats, guys! He really is adorable.
Clayton and I even managed to snag a date in there with free babysitting! Wow! a real date!
We stayed in Washington for about a week then we headed to Oregon to visit my parents at the beach. It was short but alot of fun! I got to see my nephews, they're getting so big! I coulnd't believe it. Evelyn loved playing at the beach with Grandma Becky and eating seafood. Yum!
Vacations are wonderful but it's so nice to be home again. We had a great time! Unfortantly...where are we going to put all this stuff now???

No kidding about where to put the stuff... I FINALLY got all the shower gifts we got organized in our little house. I'm definitely finding creative ways to store things!! Good luck with yours!
New stuff is so much fun to get, but where to put it all? We're in student housing, so we have like no storage. Glad to hear you guys had a great vacation. I totally understand about coming home after a vacation. It's so nice to sleep in your own bed! We hope you guys have a great New Year! Take care!!
Christmas went so fast...and Evelyn's dress was SO cute!! I am with you on all this STUFF! Why did we get so much stuff?! Next year there will be less stuff---my goal anyways. Try telling that to Grandma!! :p It was great to see you guys, we sure miss you.
