Early Christmas

Evelyn getting ready to open her presents!

Since we're leaving thursday to drive to Washington to spend Christmas with Clayton's Family we decided to open our presents a weeks early! That way we didn't have to drive them to Washington and then drive them home again and Evelyn could play with them a little bit before we left. Evelyn has been trying to open these since I wrapped them! It was so much fun. She even got to open the present that Grandma Becky and Grandpa Leo left for her (it would've been a hassle to bring from Oregon) which she absolutely loved! Clayton got a new wool camo jacket and some bowhunting stuff and I don't get my present yet since Clayton hasn't gotten it but that's fine with me, this way I get to help pick it out! Evelyn was really excited about the baby crib, highchair and stroller that G & G Thatcher gave her. She ran to her room to get her baby and put it in the stroller then asked it, "Do you wanna go see animals? Okay?! Let's GO!" and took off down the hallway. It was so cute! She got a bow and arrow set from her daddy and I got her a kitty sleepingbag. Some stuff for her baby, a new "little people" playset, some dress-up necklases and bracelets and a new stuffed dog with a sweater. Poor Softer has competition now!
