While we were in Washington over spring break Gerry and Clayton made Evelyn her first bow. Clayton still needs to stain it and finish it, but it turned out beautifully! Evelyn was so excited she wanted to go out and shoot it right away! She's going to be a pro. She's didn't have any trouble pulling it back and she could really let them fly!
Tomorrow is the Idaho Traditional Bowhunter highway cleen-up, BBQ and shoot. Clayton and Evelyn just went to find some small arrows for her at Cabelas hopefully they'll be able to find some because she's really excited about shooting her bow with Daddy.

That's so cute! A little hunter in training huh? You know bow season is coming up in a few months.
It sure makes me miss the good old days when I went bow hunting with my dad. Those hunting trips were always so much fun.
