Wednesday Stella rolled over from her tummy to her back! She was so surprised! Now she's extremely happy that she no longer has to be forced to play on her tummy and can remedy the situation herself. Take that Momma!
We tried feeding Stella with a bottle to get her ready for my surgery (the 23rd, by the way) when she will be without her own personal Dairy. She was not a happy girl. She refused to drink, letting the precious liquid dribble down her chin and then she got very vocal about her displeasure. When we gave up and I nursed her she'd stop, look up at me, get all frowny and then she'd go "mamanugh" (in a very disgruntled voice) then go back to vigorously nursing until she felt the need to tell me again what a horrible thing that was. It was hilarious. Also, frustrating. She needs to get it before the 23rd. So I went searching for a more baby friendly bottle and found success with the NUK by Gerber*. Hurray! (*see below)
Other fun accomplishments at 3 months:
she stares transfixed at her chubby little hands and determinedly sticks them in her mouth
she laughs at almost anything and anyone
will drink momma's milk from a bottle (hurray for smart product designers who FINALLY decided to make a bottle that's similar to the real deal.)
"talks" ALL THE TIME (I'm afraid to think about future phone bills!)
frequently sleeps for 10 hrs at night. good girl!
IS the CUTEST/ Sweetest little thing out there!
