It wasn't exactly the LAST day, because we did this Saturday, but it was close enough. As exciting as it was to know that Stella would be here soon, it was also a little sad to know that Evelyn will be our one and only for only a few more days. We took her to the river to go fishing, and Clayton is now convinced that Evelyn is bad fish luck! We didn't catch anything again. But we had fun spending time together as just the three of us. After fishing we went to the park to play for a while, then came home and canned 12 quarts of applesauce! (my mom brought us 2 boxes of apples) I love these pictures of Evelyn our soon to be big sister.

Evelyn is such a beautiful little girl. I'm sure she'll be a perfect big sister to Stella. Monday morning I thought if Stella could have waited one more week, she would have been born on her great grandmother's birthday. I'd been waiting for the call to tell me that everything went well with both of you. Lots of love!
