Clayton and Evelyn waiting in line for the bumper boats
After we were finished at the water park we headed over to Boondocks for twice the fun, the guys raced cars till just before midnight when they got home. The kids enjoyed "playing" the arcade games and getting tickets (Evelyn got a couple of the "jackpots") and they all took a shot at each other on the bumper boats. They even snuck Evelyn on to the GoKarts (she wasn't tall enough) she couldn't see past clayton's big knees but she was laughing the whole time. The bumper boats were another story, when she got off she told me, "that was really scary!"

Getting dry after a round of slides
Grandma Johnson yelling at me for taking her picture and enjoying the shade on the hottest day they were here....a balmy 100*

Navigating the 'tube around
We got the park at about 11AM and stayed there until about 5:45 when we headed over to Boondocks. I missed the shot (because I was getting something to drink) but Clayton and Gerry went for more of a ride than they bargained for on the Avalanch and almost ended up in the parking lot. Grandma and I mostly hung out in the shady spot we eventually found, but I was able to ride the Lazy river a couple of times with Evelyn and Clayton. It was so much fun watching Evelyn in the water...she's a little fish!

Looking at the Lemurs (one of her favorite things at the zoo)

Connie, Gerry, Grandma Johnson, Casey, Jennie, Sophia, and Ava came to visit us for about a week. We had such a great time and we hope that they did too. We all probably gained 10lbs at least, Grandma fed us so well. We ate out every night except for Sunday and we ordered in pizza monday night. We played at the Zoo, Roaring springs water park and Boondocks, the Discovery Center of Idaho, saw WALL-E in the theater, went to Cabelas, and of course did a little ( slight understatement) shopping. We hope that they have a safe drive home today and it doesn't take too long...portable DVD players are terrific! Thanks again for everything you did for us while you were here and you're welcome to come back whenever you want. We love you!
